TÜV SÜD appoints Chief Sustainability Officer

Global testing, inspection and certification company TÜV SÜD has appointed Dr Céline Bilolo to the newly-created position of Chief Sustainability Officer.

Chief Sustainability Officer is a newly-created role at TÜV SÜD.

Bilolo, who took up the role on January 1 2024, will steer and control sustainability management at the company and improve the sustainability of TÜV SÜD’s operational services worldwide. Based at TÜV SÜD’s headquarters in Munich, Dr Bilolo will build her own team, according to TÜV SÜD.

As a former industry management consultant and investment manager, Dr Bilolo brings experience in establishing sustainability organisations and management of sustainability projects to her new position. In her last role, Dr Bilolo managed investments in social enterprises in sub-Saharan Africa for the impact investment fund of a global pharmaceutical company.
