OPPO's Find N3 was awarded the Reliable Folding certification by TÜV Rheinland Greater China. According to TÜV Rheinland, the Reliable Folding certification is a performance evaluation standard introduced by TÜV specifically for foldable screen smartphones.

To achieve the standard, foldables must meet four criteria: physical performance, holding comfort, scene durability test, and 10,000-fold durability.

More than 40 tests are conducted to assess such things as display color accuracy in the bending area, touch response, bend lifespan and creases.

The Find N3 is not the first OPPO foldable to achieve the certification. OPPO's Find N, N2 series, N3 Flip, and other products have already attained the TÜV Rheinland Reliable Folding standard.

Meanwhile, TÜV Rheinland Greater China – the Chinese subsidiary of the testing and certification company – also recently certified XREAL’s new augmented reality (AR) glasses. The XREAL Air 2 and Air 2 Pro were awarded four certificates from TÜV Rheinland Greater China: for color accuracy, eye comfort, low blue light, and flicker free.

Jay Yang, vice president of TÜV Rheinland Greater China Electrical, said: "TÜV Rheinland has been conducting technical research and standard development in the field of AR/VR since 2019, aiming to help the industry pursue higher display performance and a better user experience through multidimensional certification for AR products.

“We are dedicated to fostering more innovation in and expanding the possibilities of the AR ecosystem, driving industry development and providing a healthier and more comfortable experience for consumers.”
