5G rollout ‘to push wireless testing market to $24B’

The global wireless testing market size is set to nearly double in value in the next five years helped by the growing deployment of 5G and IoT devices, a new report said.

The report from Research and Markets said that growing deployment of 5G network and adoption of IoT devices is expected to grow the market from $13.5 billion in 2022 to $23.7 billion by 2027.

According to the report, rising competition among manufacturers and increasing demand for future-proof solutions are the factors that are expected to drive the growth of the market for oscilloscopes.

The wireless device testing market is also likely to witness connectivity and convergence trends, including the development of innovative network technologies and advancements in AI.

The increasing use of AI in electronic devices and the rising deployment of integrated instruments with high bandwidth as well as improved user interface will also drive demand for wireless device testing globally, the report said.

Wireless testing plays an important role in the consumer electronics industry. A growing number of electronic devices rely on wireless technologies including Bluetooth, cellular, near-field communication (NFC), and Wi-Fi.
