TÜV SÜD financial chief to step down

Global testing and certification company TÜV SÜD said that long-standing CFO Prof. Dr. Matthias Rapp will leave the company in September after 11 years at the company.

Rapp will depart the company on September 30 at his request to take up new challenges elsewhere, according to TÜV SÜD.

Chairman of the Supervisory Board Wolfgang Dehen expressed his thanks to Professor Rapp for his commitment over the past 11 years. “We deeply regret Matthias Rapp’s departure but naturally respect his decision,” said Dehen. “I would like to thank him for his years of dedication to the company in his capacity as CFO. He has supported TÜV SÜD through an extensive growth and internationalisation process with immense wisdom and judgement, and thus made a major contribution to our business success.”

The TÜV SÜD Management and Supervisory Board also expressed their gratitude to Rapp for his “professionalism, collegiality and loyalty”, and wished him all the best for the future.
