Marking an important milestone in TÜV Rheinland's local expansion efforts, the new Greater Bay Area (Shenzhen) Operation Center is located in Guangming Yesun Synthet Biology Industrial Park, in Guangming District, covering a total area of about 15,000 sq m. The center will fully upgrade the original Shenzhen Nanshan Testing Center Laboratory, focusing on key areas including, new energy batteries, energy storage systems, sensors and components, information equipment and 5G, smart home appliances, lighting devices, smart healthcare, kitchenware and stationery, toys, textiles, footwear, chemical testing, and microbial detection. It aims to support the development of innovative technological industries in the Greater Bay Area and Shenzhen.
Meanwhile, the TÜV Rheinland IoT Execllence Center has moved to the Nuclear Power Industrial Park in the Longhua District, with a total area of 3000 sq m. Its testing capabilities include EMC full-range tests for electrical, commercial, industrial products and medical devices, radio frequency (RF) tests and safety tests for wireless electronic products, as well as global market access certification services. It will collaborate with TÜV Rheinland's laboratories across the Greater China region, operating in parallel to provide services for clients in the Greater Bay Area.
