The merging of the three companies will create a single organization with more than 8,000 employees in 45 countries worldwide, and with an annual consolidated revenue of close to 2 billion Euro.

The new Busch Group will become one of the world’s largest manufacturers of comprehensive vacuum solutions, including vacuum pumps, vacuum systems, blowers, compressors and gas abatement systems, it said.

Busch Vacuum Solutions provides rough and medium vacuum applications, while Pfeiffer Vacuum produces high vacuum technology and leak detection tools. Meanwhile, centrotherm clean solutions is an expert in sustainable gas abatement systems. Pfeiffer Vacuum’s products are commonly used in electronics production, development and testing.

According to Busch, the consolidation of their services into a single company “solidifies the Busch Group as a one-stop supplier with an extensive product portfolio to meet all customer requirements and further improves the experience for the entire customer base.”

Busch Vacuum Solutions – and now also the Busch Group – is a Germany-based family business that has been continuously led by the Busch family since its founders Ayhan and Dr Karl Busch developed the first vacuum pump specifically designed for food packaging in the 1960s.
