SGS to host webinar on sustainability compliance

Leading testing, inspection and certification company SGS will host a webinar this week on sustainable consumer electronics.

The webinar, entitled ‘Sustainable Consumer Electronics: Global Energy Efficiency Compliance Requirements’, is aimed at electronics makers looking to improve their understanding of global environmental regulations for their products. The webinar takes place this Thursday (October 26).

Sustainability compliance is a growing area of concern for electronics makers, both as a way to stay ahead of the rules and as a way to ensure competitive advantage.

According to SGS, the event will be hosted SGS expert Sven Dong, who will take attendees through the regulatory landscape of major global markets, including Europe, the Middle East, North/South America, and Australia and New Zealand.

Dong will talk about the environmental regulatory requirements for these different regions, as well as those for the energy efficiency labeling of products, to inform consumers and meet compliance rules. To register for the free event follow this link
