SGS appoints new North America connectivity head

Testing, inspection and certification (TIC) company SGS has appointed a new director of connectivity for its North America operations.

SGS said Jay Suh had would be responsible for the overall North American Connectivity business “with the focus on service and location expansions.”

Suh will also be responsible for the continuous development of the North America certification scheme, in a global role, to support affiliates’ growth, SGS.

Suh, who is based in Silicon Valley, studied molecular biology at Berkeley and has 15 years managerial experiences covering testing and certification for electronic products and connectivity.

Fred Yang, SGS vice president of global connectivity said: “We are delighted to appoint Jay to the role of director of connectivity, North America. Jay’s proven experience in the connectivity industry will be instrumental in driving our North America business.”
