The company will exhibit solutions for evaluating the visual quality of AR, VR and MR displays at booth 6212 in Moscone Center West and will present on the quality challenges of prescription lensing for AR/MR devices on Monday, January 27, beginning at 1:20 PM local time.

Erin Brown, a test engineer with Radiant, will lead the company’s presentation to discuss different metrology approaches currently being applied, including mechanical methods such as reverse compensation optics and software algorithms to compensate for prescription power. Focusing on a novel, patent-pending metrology solution, and presenting research results of testing various methods, Brown will also review suggested metrology focus range requirements and discuss the advantage of using diopters as a core unit of measurement. Brown will provide examples from Radiant’s test and measurement technology and present considerations for quality challenges of prescription lensing for AR/MR devices with an opportunity for audience questions following the presentation.

Throughout the event, Radiant will also demonstrate its solutions for ARVRMR display testing from booth 6212 as part of the SPIE ARVRMR exhibition. Members of Radiant’s team will be on-site to discuss specific project challenges as well as showcase the company’s ProMetric imaging systems and software in example applications.
