The modern 4,200 sq m laboratory consolidates operations that were previously split between Karup and Lem. Environmental sustainability is at the forefront of the laboratory’s design, featuring super-insulated construction and solar panels to minimize its carbon footprint while maximizing operational efficiency.

“The new Herning laboratory brings our expert teams together under one roof, allowing us to better serve our customers and create new opportunities for our people,” said Karin Abel, general manager of Element Metech Denmark. “This consolidation very much strengthens our position as the leading calibration partner in the Nordic region.”

Matt Hopkinson, executive vice president for EMEAA at Element Materials Technology, added: "This investment aligns perfectly with Element's global strategy to expand our technical capabilities to meet the needs of our customers while prioritizing sustainability. The Herning laboratory is a stunning facility and reinforces our commitment to long-term growth in the Nordic region."
