Element’s Global Business Solutions (GBS) facility was officially opened this week in Blue Ash, Ohio, by the city’s vice-mayor Katie Schneider.

The 21,500 square foot office contains state-of-the-art facilities including a collaboration space, huddle rooms, an open-concept layout and a fitness center.

Element said it has doubled in size in the Americas since 2020 due to “organic growth and growth from acquisitions,” it has acquired nine businesses in the region since 2021.

The new GBS facility will create 65 new jobs in the company’s divisions of human resources, digital technology, commercial, legal, and finance. The addition of the new facility will not affect the work of Element’s state-of-the-art material testing laboratory in nearby Fairfield, Ohio.

Rick Sluiters, EVP Americas at Element, said: “We thank everyone who came out to celebrate with us and reiterate our thanks to the State of Ohio for their strong support. We moved into the GBS facility to aid future business growth and attract new talent and I am more confident than ever that it will exceed our expectations in doing so.”

Dan Johnson, City of Blue Ash economic development director, said: “We are excited to welcome Element to Blue Ash.”
