The seminars will take place May 2-3 and will delve into the fundamentals of weathering testing.
The first day of seminars will cover lightfastness, weathering durability and techniques of natural and accelerated outdoor exposure testing. It will also look at laboratory accelerated methods and instruments.
The second day will go deeper into the effects of solar radiation, heat and moisture, and how to test materials and products for these climatic effects. The seminar will also include detailed information on the new ASTM D7869 automotive standard for transportation coatings.
Attendees will also get the chance to Atlas' newest outdoor accelerated test instruments – the Ultra-Accelerated EMMA, Low-Temperature EMMA and Ultra-Accelerated Weathering System – in action.
Each day of the two-day event will cost $415 per attendee, with a 20 percent discount for those registering before the end of March.
