Apple ‘to release 18 new devices within the year’

Apple is reportedly set to launch at least 18 new devices in the next year, as the tech giant became the first company ever to reach a market close valuation of $3 trillion.

According to Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman – a reliable source for Apple-related leaks – the tech company’s new releases include four versions of the iPhone 15, updates to the Apple Watch series, as well as new MacBooks, iMacs, iPads and a new home smart display.

The four new iPhones are likely to be launched at Apple’s traditional September showcase. Bloomberg's report also predicts the launch of “two Apple Watch Series 9 models and an updated version of the Ultra" later this year, and includes the codenames for the three products – N207, N208 and N210.

Gurman’s claims came just a few days before Apple made financial history as its market cap closed above $3 trillion for the first time ever.

Apple had previously surpassed the $3 trillion mark during intraday trading in January 2022, but it failed to make it to the market close at that level.
